TWO events aimed at supporting people who may have dementia, and their family and friends, will be held in Tobar na Slàinte, Staffin's health centre.
Alzheimer Scotland is holding a drop-in session on Wednesday May 22 between 12 noon and 2pm and also on Wednesday June 26 at 12 noon to 2pm.
It will be hosted by Portree-based Lesley Hellon, who is the dementia advisor for Alzheimer Scotland. Lesley said: "The events are designed to offer support, information and advice activities and events in the community and online. There is also support for Gaelic speakers and we are happy to deliver Dementia Friends workshops for a minimum of 4 people at a time."
You can contact Lesley via email lhellon@alzscot.org or phone her on 07825975557 for further information or if you have any questions.
Drop in sessions don’t need to be booked, if you would like a Dementia Friends session please contact Lesley.
