Three Staffin residents joined the Staffin Community Trust board at its AGM last week.
The meeting which was chaired by SCT director Sine Gillespie heard verbal updates from staff Hugh Ross and Angus Murray about progress on the projects including Staffin Harbour, Taighean a Chaiseil, the Nurse's Cottage, Druim nan Linntean and the Crofters' Memorial.
Maggie Ross, Ged Poland and Andrew Whitehead are now SCT directors and Sine thanked them all for agreeing to join and support the work being done in the Taobh Sear.
The annual report can be read here: 2023 UTS AGM Report to the Board 30 1 24
SCT would also be grateful if all its members could take two to three minutes to complete the Taobh Sear 2034 online survey, which will help with shaping the community's preferred projects and work for the next 10 years: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc4owyWQivLlo_iJShfSo-kttgq3uykGCUGANpE0uzLRmVv7A/viewform
